CTK Biotech is pleased to announce a new step toward environmentally friendly production and a safer working environment for our employees. As our market share and production volume continue to grow, we feel an increased responsibility to protect our environment and minimize our impact.
The existing method for printing the test name on the cassette which uses paint and solvents will be updated to a safe, clean, and automated laser marking method. The new method removes our workers’ exposure to paint chemical aerosols during the printing process, and provides many meaningful benefits as well.
Collectively, upgrading to laser marking technology provides:
- Reduced use of paint and solvents in printing process
- Consistent color by removing the risk of variation in paint liquid viscosity
- Precise product marking to easily comply with ever-maturing QC, IVD, and diagnostic protocol
- A safer product for environmental friendly disposal after use
