E-Commerce Business Manager_ B2B and DTC

The E-Commerce Manager, B2B and DTC is responsible for developing and executing our E-Commerce growth strategies and tactics for the US diagnostics market. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of driving online business, increasing sales and ROI. Reports to the VP of Sales as this effort is one of the company’s major focused growth points.

  • Working under our VP of Sales, Develop and manage E-Commerce programs, marketing activation, and innovative launch executions that drive sales and market share with acceptable ROI.
  • Responsible for pricing and pricing models through various metrics, prepare and implement content improvements as needed to maintain profitability.
  • Responsible for the execution of compelling web promotions and offerings to drive customer engagement by working with head of marketing, to continually review research, customer data, and web analytics, advising on better methods for e-commerce promotion.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of key competitors online marketing strategies and product offerings.
  • As this business unit develops, supervise internal E-commerce team and any third-party consultant/agency relationships.
  • Serve as a thought leader, identifying new revenue opportunities through research, business unit feedback, and sales performance analysis.
  • Participate in the development, launch, and marketing of new products as directed.
  • demonstrate expertise in all communications with customers regarding implementation and execution, best practices, products and features, partnerships, etc.
  • Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop long-term business plans for products identified for US sales.
  • Identify business needs, develop project requirements, and other documentation as required.

* Bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in CS, Marketing, or a related field)

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce
  • Experience in B2B and DTC E-Commerce demonstrating the ability to grow sales, specifically with Amazon.
  • This position requires a strong track record in developing e-commerce websites; previous industrial, electronics, or wholesale experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must have demonstrated strong leadership, management, analytics skills, and understanding of IT fundamentals.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint primarily)
  • Versed in Google Analytics and E-Commerce platforms
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in start-up environments is a plus.
  • Positive team player attitude with a strong sense of ownership as this opportunity requires management of all front and back-end e-commerce business management.
  • Develop forecast models and provide forecasts as requested for assigned products business.
  • Work With department managers to ensure stock of material is made available based on demand profiles
  • Ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective shipping of products to any and all warehouse centers or DTC.
  • Monitor stock levels are e-commerce sites and company warehouses (domestic & international)
  • Manage customer feedback, ensuring on-time response to any queries, feedback, or complaints that come through social media, e-commerce, or other sources.
