Marketing Associate

Department: Marketing & Sales

Reports To: Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Support management of CTK Biotech’s product lines

  • Assist in maintaining updated standard or OEM packaging, documentation and literature at highest document control standards
  • Editing and formatting of product inserts, labels at highest document control standards
  • Writing copy, editing and accuracy and consistency of messaging of marketing promotional materials, such as training presentations, posters, flyers and others
  • Support new product launches by assisting with preparation, creation, and feedback collection of printed materials and creation of sales literature
  • Coordinate with other departments to compile product information

Support CTK’s online marketing strategy

  • Maintain content for company website and blog
  • Assist in developing presence in social media forums
  • Write/edit copy to maintain current online profiles
  • Record and analyze web traffic and track communications
  • Maintain press list and coordinate distribution of press releases

Support other marketing activities

  • Maintain marketing database by inputting data related to marketing documents control, marketing requests, tradeshow opportunities, product literature, market trends, etc.
  • Tradeshow coordination and organization
  • Track marketing promotional materials and gifts inventory
  • Track budget and expenses

Education and/or Experience

AA degree required, BA/BS preferred; preferably in English, Marketing, Communications or related field. Biology or biochemistry background is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge, Skill and Experience

Computer Skills:                                                            

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficienct in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point. BarTender, FileMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign preferred.
