Product Marketing Assistant- Technical Writer

Reports To: Product Marketing Associate – Technical Writer

CTK Biotech develops, manufactures, and markets diagnostic kits worldwide. Its focus is on infectious diseases and biomarkers. It intends to recruit highly motivated scientists for its product development team to manage its growing product lines.

Position Summary

CTK is looking for a marketing assistant to join our team as we expand our already large product portfolio into new technologies and markets.  CTK is a fast-paced IVD manufacturer, delivering and improving diagnostics across the world. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining updated packaging, documentation, and marketing collateral across all brands and technologies offered at CTK. This task is both systemic and urgent depending on the product’s life cycle.
  • Edit and format packing and labeling material ensuring consistency of messaging and error-free production
  • Support translation of all required materials, working internally and with outsourced translation services
  • Support lead generation with data entry from tradeshows, website, etc.
  • Assist in setting up of any product photo shoots or video set
  • Support the preparation of marketing collateral for tradeshows and field visits
  • Work closely with both product development and marketing to accomplish tasks
  • Perform tasks following established quality standards and procedures
  • Assist in regular audits of product databases ensuring released materials are up to date and accurate
  • Perform tasks following established quality standards and procedures

    Education and/or Experience

    • Experience with Bartender software
    • BS in Biology is a plus
    • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus
    • BA or BS degree in marketing, QA, or project management certificate is a plus!

    Required Knowledge, Skill and Experience                   

    • Adept at Microsoft Office suite
    • This role is HEAVY on regulated and controlled documentation and the applicant must enjoy the organization and management of documents and files
    • Multi-tasking and highly organized with a strong sense of urgency

    Preferred Knowledge, Skill and Experience

    • Experience with ISO 13485 quality management system
    • Background in QA or product management
    • Experience with OEM
