Production Assistant

Department: Reagent Production

Reports To: Production Manager

Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, in either verbal or written form.

Position Summary:

The Production Assistant is mainly responsible for manufacturing biological products following SOP and maintaining production-related records.

  • Production of Recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and other biologics per work instruction
  • Conducting general lab maintenance, including glass washing, buffer/reagent preparation, proper disposal of waste, and inventory organization
  • Communicating constantly with team members and related departments
  • Reporting or handling equipment & production non-conformity
  • Identifying problems, initiating solutions, and writing documents
  • Keep excellent lab notebook and documentation

 

  • Associate degree or BS with science background and 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiar with general laboratory equipment, including pipette, centrifuge, pH meter and analytical balance, is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in general biological techniques (bacterial and insect cell culture, protein purification and characterization) is a plus.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
