Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping Associate Manager

CTK is looking for a Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving Associate Manager to join our team as we expand our large product portfolio into new technologies and markets.  CTK is a fast-paced IVD manufacturer, delivering and improving diagnostics worldwide. Purchasing:

  • Create and submit purchase orders to suppliers based on the requirements from the database system, the purchase requisitions, and any other requests that might arise.
  • Assist in obtaining and studying comparative prices and quotations. Make purchasing decisions based on information obtained, negotiating for the best possible price and lead time
  • Request and inspect product samples and pre-ship testing reports
  • Review supplier invoices for accuracy and forward them to accounts payable
  • Ensure purchases are received on time
  • Assist quality assurance with initial qualification of new suppliers and continuous monitoring and regular auditing of existing suppliers
  • Assists auditors in reviewing documents and records as needed.
  • Acting as a liaison between our operations, logistics, and finance teams distributes purchasing information to involved parties, including suppliers, sales representatives, and employees.
  • Detect, research, and resolve purchasing issues and problems with incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments.
  • Provides routine troubleshooting of purchasing and requisition issues.
  • Data entry into multiple systems.
  • Run, format, and distribute reports.
  • Attends and participates in purchasing-related meetings on and off-site as needed.

Receiving:

  • Responsible for incoming material receipt and communicates with the quality department as required.
  • Inspect items received for damage and/or defects Identify and resolve any discrepancies with open purchase orders or nonconforming materials
  • Assist in the disposal of nonconforming materials, such as the return of nonconforming materials to suppliers.
  • Assists auditors in reviewing documents and records as needed.
  • Data entry into multiple systems.
  • Run, format, and distribute reports.

Shipping:

  • Assist customer service with shipping both domestically and internationally, ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
  • Assists auditors in reviewing documents and records as needed.
  • Data entry into multiple systems.
  • Run, format, and distribute reports.

 

  • 2-5 years in purchasing within a company with ISO 13485 QMS
  • BA or BS in business/accounting
  • Experience in IVD manufacturing a plus
  • Experience in Shipping & Receiving a plus
  • Bilingual Chinese/English a plus
