Responsibilities/Job description

CTK is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, highly motivated Scientist to support antibody discovery and antibody engineering programs. The successful candidate will be a strategic member of a fast-paced, collaborative research group focused on discovering novel proteins for in vitro diagnostics. The ideal candidate will contribute extensively with hands-on protein expression, purification, and characterization. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Antibody discovery and engineering including recombinant antibody design
  • Antibody expression and characterization using ELISA and Lateral flow assay
  • Generating high-level stable expression system in mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO
  • Develop and optimize large-scale antibody purification platform
  • Introduce or develop the latest technologies and create Ips
  • Document research and development process according to the Design Control process and Risk management procedures
  • Ensure project timeline through external and internal collaboration


  • PhD in Molecular Biology or related fields
  •  2+ years of industry or postdoc experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with single B cell cloning or Phage display technology Extensive hands-on experience in the following areas: DNA manipulation and cloning, mammalian cell culture, ELISA.
  • Experience with antibody expression and purification in mammalian systems
  • Strong knowledge of Molecular Biology and Cell Biology
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task, and excited for hands-on laboratory research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player and perform at a high level in a matrixed, antibody discovery environment
