Responsibilities/Job description

The candidate will function as an integral member of the research team to support product development activities. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Involvement in the development of the following IVD product lines: ELISA, Chemiluminescence assays, POC assays.
  • Fulfill design control requirements such as feasibility studies, optimization studies and verification and validation studies. This includes but is not limited to: new products, technology transfers, validation, product improvements, and IP development.
  • Planning and execution of experiments for IVD product development under minimal supervision.
  • Effective troubleshooting and data interpretation.
  • Assists in transfer of developed products to manufacturing process.
  • Generate detailed study reports, SOPs, and technical documents to support product registration.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and present the results in weekly/month R&D meetings.
  • Must thrive in fast-paced environment and be willing to learn new technologies.
  • Maintain compliance to company quality policy.

Education/Experience:

  • PhD with 3+ years’ experience, or MS with 6+ years’ experience, or BS with 8-10 years’ experience, in Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in development of immunoassays (ELISA, CLIA, POCT) and biomolecule conjugation.
  • Experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, expression).
  • Previous experience in the IVD industry is a plus.
  • Worked in a regulated environment following ISO 13485:2016.
  • Draft work instructions and SOPs for production.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative personality.
