Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will function as an integral member of the research team to support product development activities. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development of diagnostic assays (ELISA, chemiluminescence assays, POC tests) that comply with regulatory standards
  • Planning and executing studies for product development following design control process.
  • Development of test protocols and transfer to manufacturing.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot problematic areas.
  • Collaborate with other teams to set and meet deadline.
  • Execute experiments under minimal supervision.
  • Maintain compliance to company quality policy.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in the Biotech industry
  • MS in in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline or BS plus 5 years of laboratory experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skill and Experience                   

  • Hands-on experience in developing immunoassays (ELISA, CLIA) or POC tets.
  • Hands-on experience in biomolecule conjugation.
  • Ability to design and conduct experiments.
  • Knowledge of QSR’s and ISO.
  • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Analyze, record, and present data.
  • Draft work instructions and SOPs for production.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative personality.
